Our belief in Christ and love for him drives us to seek to know him and follow his ways. He in turn empowers us with this Holy Spirit to carry out the work he calls us to. There is only one God. He is Holy and the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has and does exist eternally as three, co-equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is God's Son. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, fully God and fully man, lived a perfect and sinless life, was crucified on a cross, rose from the grave after three days, and later ascended to heaven where he now sits at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus died to pay the penalty for the sin of mankind. Some day he will return to rule and reign in righteousness.
The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity of God along with God the Father and God the son, Jesus Christ. He is given to believers in Jesus as a seal of the promises of God. Believers need to be baptized with water and be filled and baptized with the Holy Spirit to be enabled to operate in the Holy Spirit’s power for life and godliness. The Holy Spirit gives gifts as he pleases for the equipping and edification of the Church and for the advancement of the Gospel.
The Biblical Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments in their original writing are fully inspired by God and are the words of God, and God is able to preserve them through time. They are the full and final authority for faith and life. They are supreme over every tradition of mankind.
God created man as male and female in His image for relationship with Him and to have dominion together over creation. God created the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman as a demonstration of the relationship he desires with mankind. Man sinned and thereby justly incurred the penalty of physical and spiritual death. All mankind inherits a sinful nature which results in transgression, guilt, and separation from Holy God.
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and the wages of sin is death. Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to everyone who trusts Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Jesus is the only way to redemption and relationship with God. Those desiring salvation need only to believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died and was raised, to repent of their sin, and to confess Jesus as their Lord. The first act of obedience demonstrating Christ’s lordship is for the believer to be baptized into Him. All who repent of their sin and receive Jesus Christ as Lord by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit, made alive spiritually, and become children of God and co-heirs with Christ.
The Church is the collective of believers that make up the body of Christ on earth until his return. There is both great power in and a great need for the church to be unified and regularly meet together for fellowship, teaching, worship, and prayer. As believers individually yield to and follow God, he equips them and leads them so they can achieve His purposes for their lives.

Rockbridge Alliance was not my idea. The seed of it was planted in my mind during prayer amid a season of deep questions and earnestly seeking God's direction. Its sudden presence and clarity were jolting. I knew it was more than an answered prayer from the Lord; it was a mandate. Still in its infancy, it is up to the Lord how he makes this grow. He is the potter; I am the clay. I aim to work for Him.
I am happiest supporting others being successful and reaching their goals. It's one of the biggest reasons I became a certified life coach. It's also why I'm involved in ministry - I want to support God's mission to reach the world with his love. This newest vehicle for helping me do that work also drives me to constantly rely on him and be committed to learning along the way. I cling to his promise that "with God all things are possible."
My heart's desire is for the world to know God as he really is. Kind. Good. Forgiving. Just. Merciful. And so much more. I invite you to share this mission and together shine brighter and further, for the sake of His kingdom.
